PRIDE
VALU CO-OP is a unionized workers’ cooperative with a mandate to transform labour practices within the arts and cultural sector, and to end the exploitation of artists in our community. We are proud to be the IATSE charter organization that founded the Arts and Cultural Workers Union (ACWU), IATSE Local B779.
As an unionized cooperative with over a third of our membership and board members that identify as queer, VALU was founded on intersectional and social justice principles of solidarity and allyship with the queer and trans community as a core mandate of our cooperative. Every order helps provide living wage flexible jobs for freelance IATSE member arts and cultural workers.
